KENTUCKY CRAFTED THE MARKET 2012


I wanted to remind you that I will be in Booth 408 at the Market, March 1-4, at the Lexington Convention Center, with the cookbooks “Favorite Recipes of Kentucky Celebrities” and the recently released “Country Goodness Recipes of Tennessee Celebrities.” We are offering special SHOW PROMOTIONS. The cookbook is the perfect item for gift shops, Kentucky Souvenirs, and Mother’s Day Presents. It was part of the Nov. Kentucky Dept. of Libraries State Book Fair and was 8th in overall sales from a selection of 523 books.

1. For orders placed prior to or during
the show of 10 or more cookbooks, we will provide FREE SHIPPING.

The Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana has invited me to serve as
one of the judges for this years event.This is such an honor.
This signature fundraising event hosted by the Girl Scouts
of Kentuckiana is open to the public and features Paducah's finest chefs
creating original desserts using the well known Girl Scout cookie varieties as
the key ingredient and presenting them for tasting. Event also includes music,
hors d'oeuvres, auctions and a judging crowning for the best dessert of the
event. You don't want to miss these tasty treats! Individual tickets: $30.

The Mayfield Woman’s Club is hosting a Book Signing with my cookbooks as part of their Annual Christmas Tour of Homes Sunday, December 1 from 12-4 p.m. The signing will take place at the Emerald Waters Lodge, 371 Straight Church Road, Mayfield. Proceeds will benefit Graves County and Mayfield Elementary Schools Backpack Program and Grace Medical Clinic.

I am so excited to be a part of this event. My father served in WWII and my brother served during Vietnam so I am thrilled to do the book signing for this organization.

It is Deer Season in Southern Illinois. So while the guys are out deer hunting the Ladies are invited to a Ladies Day Out at Hogg Hollow Winery. Steve invited me to do a book signing with “Country Goodness Recipes of Tennessee Celebrities.” with proceeds going to MASH 62398 a local Golconda Cancer Support Group. The cookbook has recipes for Elvis, Alan Jackson, Paypal Founder David O. Sacks, Dolly Parton, Pres. Andrew Jackson, and The Chatanooga Choo Choo.

What a great way for the Ladies to kick off deer season and kick back to have some fun. There will also be representatives from:

November 5, 2011- Madisonville-Hopkins County Library will host a book signing and discussion of my cookbooks “Favorite Recipes of Kentucky Celebrities” and “Country Goodness Recipes of Tennessee Celebrities.” The discussion will take place at 2:00 p.m. The cookbooks serve as fundraisers for non-profit organizations and I pledges 50% of the proceeds from cookbook sales to the fundraiser.
