Here are 2 GREAT opportunities to get a cookbook for Mother’s Day and help 2 wonderful organizations. I have 2 book signings this weekend. The first is at Lourdes Hospital Cafeteria on Friday May 6 and the second is Saturday May 7 (NOTE LOCATION CHANGE DUE TO FLOODING IN NOBLE PARK) at Tilghman High School Football Field.

On Friday, May 6 there will a Lourdes Auxiliary Bake Sale in the Garden Room from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. All proceeds from this event will go to Lourdes Foundation.

March of Dimes March for Babies

Time: May 7, 2011 - 10:00am

Note: Due to the temporary closure of Noble Park, the walk will be held at the Tilghman High School football field and track.

The March of Dimes McCracken County March for Babies at Noble Park. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. with the walk at 10:00 a.m. The park will not be closed to the public during the event: however, please use caution around the walkers.

Last week I was so busy I did not have time to do a blog. I did a book signing for Yeiser Art Center, during the National Quilt Show in Paducah. There were over 35,000 quilters from around the world. They loved the cookbooks PERFECT KENTUCKY SOUVENIR.
